Session II offers equine enthusiasts an overview of Equine Care and Management which is even more intensive than the topics normally presented in our other sessions. The course was created utilizing the Horse Industry Handbook, a project of the American Youth Horse Counsel, Inc.
Field trips will include visiting relevant local landmarks, such as the Morven Park Equine Medical Facility and facilities such as an Oldenberg breeding farm.
In addition to our daily riding and lessons, campers will be treated to visits by a number of equine professionals, including a veterinarian, an equine massage specialist, and a farrier.
