|
Here is a unique opportunity to learn equine anatomy with Wendy Murdoch Wendy, an internationally noted riding instructor and clinician, has taken over 250 Anatomy in Clay courses, holds a masters degree in Equine Reproductive Physiology and is a Feldenkrais Practitioner. Wendy is the author of Simplify Your Riding, Ride Like a Natural DVD series, and most recently, the article series, Comparable P Wendy Murdoch's love of functional anatomy will make this course truly meaningful as she guides students to sense muscles in their own bodies as they build them on the models. As the students build the muscles in clay and then apply them to the field model, they experience a deeper and more lasting memory and understanding of the material being presented. Developing a deeper familiarity with and understanding of the anatomy and biomechanics of the horse helps riders learn what to expect in training and conditioning, as well as how to help their horses increase in performance. This course will be especially informational for United States Pony Club riders seeking upper level ratings (C-3 to A), riders interested in enhancing their working knowledge of the horse, and others interested in the sciences of anatomy and physiology. |
